Drama Visual Careers

We were interested in pyrotechnics because we wanted to know how to be a pyrotechnic. I found out that becoming a pyrotechnic doesn't need formal education but you need 3 years of experience. I was surprised that they can earn around $30 - $60 depending on how experienced they are. Pyrotechnics work on stage shows, films, televisions and events. They work with light, fireworks and smoke devices. Part of the works also include paperwork, planning and building stands for the fireworks. Some people think that it is easy but it's not, about 3,000 people die per year from serious injuries or misfires.

Formal And Informal Rules

Formal rules are rules that everyone needs to follow whether it be at school or at home. Most of the time if it isn’t followed, you get a punishment.

Informal rules are rules that are made up but it doesn’t have to be followed. Teacher can make their own rules for their class but the whole school doesn’t have to do it.

Drama Skills

1/8/17                               Drama Skills

Respect

Feels - personal safety, no gum
Looks - space_gaps moving but not running, focus, eye contact on speaker
Sounds - quiet, no call outs, no headphones

Energy

Feels
Looks - energetic movement, getting cues
Sounds - can be loud or quiet

We played 16/16 which needed energy to move 16 steps around the circle. You could see energy in everyone because they were participating. We needed to show respect by not pushing around people.

It was hard to count in our head from 16 steps and backwards.
It was easy to move around.

We played Copy Circle which needed energy to copy the leader . You could see energy in the leader because he/she has to make moves that everyone has to copy. We needed to show respect by not looking at the leader's eyes so he/she doesn't get caught.

it was hard to not look at the leader.
It was easy to copy the moves.

We played 7 up which needed energy to count from 1-7. You could see energy in everyone because they were counting properly. We needed to show respect by not hitting people or mucking around and focusing on the game.

it was hard to keep up on the game when were not counting with our voice.
It was easy to play the game.
