Cupcakes Recipe

Ingredients:

125 g softened butter
1/3 cup caster sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup of raising flour
1/4 cup milk

Directions
1.Heat the oven 180 degrees at bake
2.Beat 2 eggs in a small bowl
3.In another bowl cream butter and caster sugar.
4.Add eggs to creamed mixture and beat to mix.
5.Fold in sifted flour and milk
6.Place mixture in cupcake holders.
7.Bake for 15 minutes

Making Icing:

1 cup icing sugar

25 g butter

drop of vanilla essence
food dye

Directions :
Mix all together

Spiced Apple Muffins

Spiced Apple Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

Serves : 12
2 cups flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup chopped peeled apple
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions :

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
2.Mix together the dry ingredients ( not including brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg)
3. Mix in apple, cover completely
4.Add wet ingredients
5.Grease muffin tins
6. Pour mixture 3/4 full
7. Sprinkle mixed  brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg at top of unbaked muffins.
8. Bake for 15-20 minutes

Tips and Tricks
While mixing your wet and dry ingredients, do not over mix it. The magic number is 12. If you overmix it will take out the fluffiness and it will not be airy. Before you take it out, make sure to check if its cooked. One way to check if its cooked it to get a toothpick and stick it in there, if it comes out without any wet substance its cooked.

We needed to be careful of knives because we might cut someone wile cutting the apples
