Game Development Post 2

Introduction

Towards the end of term 1, we were tasked to make a game/app. We have been researching our game. We looked at what we should put in it and all the designs we were going to have. When we returned from the holidays we have started building the game. Last week was the last week of making our game.

Reflection

My Learning

I have learned many things throughout this project. First of all, I learned how to code an app/game by the tutorials on the website. While I was making the app, I learned about other champions that I don't usually use. I also learned how to manage my team and tell them what to do in a nice way.

My Group

My group contributed some work. They didn't know how to code so I did most of the work. Some people weren't at school for most of the time so they couldn't catch up. While I was coding the app, they are recording information on a document that is shared among us. Overall, my team did not work very well.

My Work

Our work wasn't finished because not everyone contributed the same amount of work. Also, we cannot figure out how we can work on the same project with Applab ( like how Google Docs work ). Sometimes, we have a reliever and everyone just gets off task. I'm happy about what we produced this term for our project.

Questions

Have you made a game before? If so, what coding websites did you use?

  1. Some good work here Ray, but it is very brief and superficial given the amount of work that was done over the time period on your app. You have referenced the sites well and your structure is well-laid out. There is room for improvement.
